The dual of Brown representability for some derived categories [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Consider a complete abelian category which has an injective cogenerator. If its derived category is left--complete we show that the dual of this derived category satisfies Brown representability.

Pilot testing the new Amit Jain’s scoring system for diabetic foot ulcer in predicting the risk of amputation

open access: yesMedicine Science, 2021
The aim of this study was to test the new Amit Jain’s diabetic foot ulcer scoring and determine the predictive validity of this simple scoring for amputation in diabetic foot ulcers.

The stable derived category of a noetherian scheme [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
For a noetherian scheme, we introduce its unbounded stable derived category. This leads to a recollement which reflects the passage from the bounded derived category of coherent sheaves to the quotient modulo the subcategory of perfect complexes.

When a Dual Marker Acts as a Paucal Marker: The Case of the Dual -e:n in Northern Rural Jordanian Arabic

open access: yesLanguages, 2023
In this research paper, based on an acceptability judgment task, it is demonstrated that dual morphology can denote paucity in northern rural Jordanian Arabic (NRJA), asserting on Blanc and Brustad’s observation that some Arabic varieties have pseudo ...

Fourier-Mukai functors and perfect complexes on dual numbers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We show that every exact fully faithful functor from the category of perfect complexes on the spectrum of dual numbers to the bounded derived category of a noetherian separated scheme is of Fourier-Mukai type.

On the Hochschild homology of singularity categories

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique, 2022
Let $k$ be an algebraically closed field and $A$ a finite-dimensional $k$-algebra. In this note, we determine complexes which compute the Hochschild homology of the canonical dg enhancement of the bounded derived category of $A$ and of the canonical dg ...

Flops and derived categories [PDF]

open access: yesInventiones Mathematicae, 2002
This paper contains some applications of Fourier-Mukai techniques to the birational geometry of threefolds. In particular, we prove that birational Calabi-Yau threefolds have equivalent derived categories. To do this we show how flops arise naturally as moduli spaces of perverse coherent sheaves.

TORSION GALOIS REPRESENTATIONS OVER CM FIELDS AND HECKE ALGEBRAS IN THE DERIVED CATEGORY

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma, 2016
We construct algebras of endomorphisms in the derived category of the cohomology of arithmetic manifolds, which are generated by Hecke operators. We construct Galois representations with coefficients in these Hecke algebras and apply this technique to ...
