Contact Dermatitis, EarlyView.Allergic contact dermatitis markedly impairs quality of life (QoL) across symptoms, functioning and emotional domains. Using DLQI, Skindex‐29 and EQ‐5D‐5L, our study demonstrates a substantial multidimensional burden and highlights the need for routine, patient‐centred QoL assessment in clinical management.

Contact Dermatitis, EarlyView.This case–control study shows that patients with allergic contact dermatitis have a higher burden of psychopathological symptoms than controls, particularly in phobic anxiety and somatization, highlighting the frequent coexistence of psychological distress in allergic contact dermatitis.
