Validity of the Brunet-Derrida formula for the speed of pulled fronts with a cutoff
We establish rigorous upper and lower bounds for the speed of pulled fronts with a cutoff. We show that the Brunet-Derrida formula corresponds to the leading order expansion in the cut-off parameter of both the upper and lower bounds.

An extension of the Derrida-Lebowitz-Speer-Spohn equation
Derrida, Lebowitz, Speer and Spohn have proposed a simplified model to describe the low temperature Glauber dynamics of an anchored Toom interface. We show how the derivation of the Derrida-Lebowitz-Speer-Spohn equation can be prolonged to obtain a new ...

Finite size corrections to the Parisi overlap function in the GREM
We investigate the effects of finite size corrections on the overlap probabilities in the Generalized Random Energy Model (GREM) in two situations where replica symmetry is broken in the thermodynamic limit. Our calculations do not use replicas, but shed

Echoing Sentiments: Art and Melancholy in the Work of Pleshette DeArmitt
During those first few days, those first few weeks, truth be told, still today, something in me has wanted simply to echo the sentiments of others. That’s because I myself didn’t know exactly what to say and, truth be told, I still don’t know today.
