Isoflavone Derivatives as Potential Anticancer Agents: Synthesis and Bioactivity Studies. [PDF]

Several isoflavone analogues with potential anticancer activities have been discovered. They include tubulin polymerase, kinases (EGFR, PI3Kδ, PI3 Kγ) HDACs and angiogenesis inhibitors. They also block signalling pathways such as Hedgehog, PI3 K/AKT/mTOR, MAPK/Wnt, EGFR/PI3 K/Akt/Bad, EGFR/ERK and EGFR/PI3 K/Akt/b‐catenin.

Abstract Natural fiber‐reinforced composites are generally known as eco‐friendly, long‐lasting, and recyclable materials. This study characterizes cellulosic Helianthus tuberosus L. fiber for polymer‐based green composites for the first time. Helianthus tuberosus L. fiber has many advantages as a reinforcement material in polymer‐based composites.

Evergreen forest types of the central plains in Cambodia: floristic composition and ecological characteristics

Current vegetation maps show evergreen forests of Cambodia as one homogenous forest type. However, ecological field studies in the central plains demonstrated a heterogenous mosaic of different evergreen forest types, each with a unique species composition and ecological characteristics.
