Designer Experience - Designing in Experience
In this paper, we introduce a new paradigm for performing user-centered product or service design on an experiential level. We call this approach Designer Experience, meaning design activity that takes place within an experiential system similar to the one that the eventual product or service will be used in.

Effect of Protection Design Parameters on Mine Blast Impact Characteristics [PDF]
While designing an armored vehicle platform, survivability is the most important capability and so protection design should be performed. In particular, mine protection design should be preferentially considered in a way that can reduce mass casualties ...

Design of Experiments: Overview [PDF]
Design Of Experiments (DOE) is needed for experiments with real-life systems, and with either deterministic or random simulation models. This contribution discusses the different types of DOE for these three domains, but focusses on random simulation. DOE may have two goals: sensitivity analysis including factor screening and optimization.

Case studies of frictional dissipation in numerically simulated clouds
Se investigan, por medio de un modelo bidimensional, los efectos de la difusión turbulenta parametrizada de calor y cantidad de movimiento. Los experimentos númericos incluyen, tanto coeficientes de intercambio constantes, como variables y los resultados

Investigating Removal Efficiency of Tetracycline Antibiotic from Aqueous Solutions Using Nanoclay Adsorbent and Study of Effective Parameters, Kinetic Models, and Adsorption Isotherms [PDF]
Pharmaceutical contaminants are one of the most important environmental problems that must be cleared of aqueous environments before they enter the environment. Adsorption method is operationally easy and cost-effective if the adsorbent is not expensive.

Experimenting with eXtreme Design [PDF]
Ontology Design Patterns (ODPs) support reusability and use of best practices in ontology engineering. Previous studies have shown that Content ODPs, in particular, have some measurable beneficial effects on the produced ontologies. However, another conclusion was that methodology and tool support was needed.
