Row Reducing Quantum Matrices, the Quantum Determinant, and the Dieudonné Determinant
We prove that row reducing a quantum matrix yields another quantum matrix for the same parameterq. This means that the elements of the new matrix satisfy the same relations as those of the original quantum matrix ringMq(n).

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Determinant: Combinatorics, Algorithms, and Complexity
We prove a new combinatorial characterization of the determinant. The characterization yields a simple combinatorial algorithm for computing the determinant. Hitherto, all (known) algorithms for the determinant have been based on linear algebra.

Brill-Noether loci of rank 2 vector bundles over an algebraic curve [PDF]
In this thesis the Brill-Noether loci W of rank 2 stable vector bundles of canonical determinant over an algebraic curve are studied. We analyse three conjectures on the nonexistence, dimension and smoothness of W, collectively known as the Brill ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

On Factorization and Calculation of Determinant of Block Matrices with Triangular Submatrices
In this paper, we consider some block matrices of dimension $nm\times{nm}$ whose components are triangular matrices of dimension $n\times{n}$. We prove that the determinant of such block matrices is determined only by the diagonal elements of their ...

DETERMINATION OF PERSONAL AND SITUATION DETERMINANTS LAZINESS
This article contains the result of the theoretical and empirical study of personality and situational factors of laziness among young people and the presence of gender differences in the concept of laziness. Laziness is synonymous with a lack of motivation, unwillingness to do anything.

On the hardness of the noncommutative determinant
In this paper, we study the computational complexity of computing the noncommutative determinant. We first consider the arithmetic circuit complexity of computing the noncommutative determinant polynomial.
