Detonation performance of urea hydrogen peroxide
Carbamide Peroxide is commonly used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries as a solid source of hydrogen peroxide. This adduct of Urea and Hydrogen Peroxide (UHP) has explosive properties, which have been only recently studied, highlighting its behaviour of non-ideal tertiary explosive and detonability at large scale.

Introduction to "To the Question of Energy Use of Detonation Combustion" by Ya. B. Zel'dovich [PDF]
Ya. B. Zel’dovich (1914–1987) made numerous contributions [1] to the theory of detonation, beginning with his very well known and widely translated article [2] on detonation structure that first introduced the standard Zel’dovich-von Neumann-Döring (ZND)

Performance of a detonation driven shock tunnel [PDF]
A detonation driven shock tunnel is useful as a ground test facility for hypersonic flow research. By attaching a convergent section ahead of the primary diaphragm in the driver section, the downstream operation mode became available to generate a high-enthalpy test flow. A 100 mm diameter shock tunnel was for the first time installed in the Laboratory

Toroidal Imploding Detonation Wave Initiator for Pulse Detonation Engines [PDF]
Imploding toroidal detonation waves were used to initiate detonations in propane–air and ethylene–air mixtures inside of a tube. The imploding wave was generated by an initiator consisting of an array of channels filled with acetylene–oxygen gas and ...
