Smooth quasi-developable surfaces bounded by smooth curves
Computing a quasi-developable strip surface bounded by design curves finds wide industrial applications. Existing methods compute discrete surfaces composed of developable lines connecting sampling points on input curves which are not adequate for ...

Feeling Safe in Urban Estates: Learning from Riverwood, Sydney [PDF]
Feeling safe is a necessity for quality of life. Conversely, feeling unsafe has a substantial impact on residents’ quality of life. How does design impact on the perception of safety, and moreover, how can design reduce incidences of ...

Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma
ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.

On paratopological groups [PDF]
In this paper, we firstly construct a Hausdorff non-submetrizable paratopological group $G$ in which every point is a $G_{\delta}$-set, which gives a negative answer to Arhangel'ski\v{\i}\ and Tkachenko's question [Topological Groups and Related ...
