Epigenetic Control of Germline Development

2012
Dynamic regulation of histone modifications and small noncoding RNAs is observed throughout the development of the C. elegans germ line. Histone modifications are differentially regulated in the mitotic vs meiotic germ line, on X chromosomes vs autosomes and on paired chromosomes vs unpaired chromosomes.

Genetic control of caudal development

Clinical Genetics, 2002
Several lines of evidence suggest that caudal development involves a distinct programme. This is illustrated by the fact that a specific pattern of malformations affects the caudal end of the human embryo. In addition, neurulation, the process leading to the formation of the neural tube, proceeds through different morphogenetic movements caudally.
