Multiple equilibrium in the Diamond Capital Model
Abstract When the EIS varies with consumption, multiple, even uncountably many, steady-state solutions may be obtained to the Diamond Capital Model. The many equilibria are solutions to a differential equation for the EIS value. This technique has general application.

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Microscopic theory of the nearest-neighbor valence bond sector of the spin-1/2 kagome antiferromagnet [PDF]
The spin-1/2 Heisenberg model on the kagome lattice, which is closely realized in layered Mott insulators such as ZnCu$_3$(OH)$_6$Cl$_2$, is one of the oldest and most enigmatic spin-1/2 lattice model.

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Modelling and simulation on the tool wear in nanometric cutting [PDF]
Tool wear is a significant factor affecting the machined surface quality. In this paper, a Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulation approach is proposed to model the wear of the diamond tool in nanometric cutting. It includes the effects of the cutting heat on

A parametrized diamond principle and union ultrafilters
We consider a cardinal invariant closely related to Hindman's theorem. We prove that this cardinal invariant is small in the iterated Sacks perfect set forcing model, and that its corresponding parametrized diamond principle implies the existence of ...

Na2V3O7, a frustrated nanotubular system with spin-1/2 diamond rings [PDF]
Following the recent discussion on the puzzling nature of the interactions in the nanotubular system Na2V3O7, we present a detailed ab-initio microscopic analysis of its electronic and magnetic properties.

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Theory of electron transport and emission from a semiconductor nanotip
An effective mass based model accounting for the conduction band quantization in a high aspect ratio semiconductor nanotip is developed to describe injected electron transport and subsequent electron emission from the nanotip. A transfer matrix formalism
