Photochemistry of dibenzothiophene-based sulfilimines

open access: yes, 2018
Azides have been the most extensively investigated precursors for the photochemical generation of nitrenes. Direct spectroscopic studies as well as indirect product studies have provided adequate evidence for the intermediacy of nitrenes, in at least some azides. On the other hand, less is known on the photochemical decomposition of sulfilimines.

BIOTRANSFORMATION AND REMOVAL OF SULFUR FROM DIBENZOTHIOPHENE USING IMPROVED BIOCATALYTIC METHODS

open access: yesCT&F Ciencia, Tecnología & Futuro, 1998
Three methods for the removal of sulfurfrom dibenzothiophene were evaluated using biocatalytic processes. The methods were a microbial, an enzymatic and a combined one that involves a previous enzymatic oxidation followed by microbial degradation.
