Response of an Infant With Presumed Multiple Acyl‐CoA Dehydrogenase Deficiency (MADD) to Ketone Supplementation

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Multiple Acyl‐CoA Dehydrogenase Deficiency (MADD) is an autosomal recessive inborn error of metabolism caused by biallelic pathogenic variants in one of three known genes: ETFA, ETFB, and ETFDH. It can cause multisystem dysfunction, including cardiomyopathy in severe cases.

Thermal Solid-State Reactions Of Cyclobutane-1,1-Dicarboxylic Acid And Cyclopropane-1,1-Dicarboxylic Acid In Potassium-Bromide.

open access: yes, 1975
Since kinetic studiees of the thermal decarboxylation of cyclobutani-1,1-dicarboxylic acid and cyclopropane=1,1=dicarboxylic acid has been performed for the molten solids and for solutions in various liquid solvents, these acids were chosen in this work ...

Thermodynamic properties and cloud droplet activation of a series of oxo-acids [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Chemistry and Physics, 2010
We have investigated the thermodynamic properties of four aliphatic oxo-dicarboyxlic acids identified or thought to be present in atmospheric particulate matter: oxosuccinic acid, 2-oxoglutaric acid, 3-oxoglutaric acid, and 4-oxopimelic acid.

A facile synthesis of pyrazole, isoxazole and pyrimidine ortho-dicarboxylic acid derivatives via beta-enaminoketoesters

open access: yes, 1997
beta-Alkoxycarbonyl-beta-enaminoketoesters 1a,b react with hydrazines to give pyrazole ortho-dicarboxylic acid derivatives 3, 4 and 5. Similarly la reacts with hydroxylamine to give isoxazole 6 and with amidines and guanidine to give pyrimidine ortho ...

2,2′-Bipyridine-5,5′-dicarboxylic acid [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2009
The title mol-ecule, C(12)H(8)N(2)O(4), lies on an inversion center. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect mol-ecules into one-dimensional chains along [11].

Effect of Dicarboxylic Acids on Lentigo Maligna

open access: yesJournal of Investigative Dermatology, 1979
Dicarboxylic acids from C8 to C14 are competitive inhibitors of tyrosinase in vitro, and here, the effect of a cream containing 15% azelaic acid (C9) on 3 cases of lentigo maligna is described. The lesions were treated for 90 days, with remarkable clinical and histological effect, maintained for up to 2 yr after cessation of treatment.
