Anticoccidial efficacy of diclazuril in pheasants.

The Veterinary record, 1990
Diclazuril, a new anticoccidial drug, was tested in young pheasants artificially infected with the three most common pathogenic species of Eimeria, E colchici, E duodenalis and E phasiani. In two replicate experiments each with 40 birds the mortalities in the infected controls were 50 and 25 per cent.

Effect of the diclazuril on Hsp90 in the second-generation merozoites of Eimeria tenella

Veterinary Parasitology, 2012
Eimeria tenella (E. tenella) is one of the most virulent pathogens of coccidiosis. In apicomplexan parasites, Hsp90 (Heat shock protein 90) is essential for the invasion and survival in host cells. In this study, the effect of diclazuril, an effective benzeneacetonitrile anticoccidial agent, on the expression of Hsp90 in the second-generation ...

[Comparison of the proteome of the sporutated oocysts of Eimeria tenella diclazuril sensitive strain with diclazuril resistant strain].

Sheng wu gong cheng xue bao = Chinese journal of biotechnology, 2009
Two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) was employed to compare the proteome of Diclazuril-resistance Eimeria tenella with that of sensitive strains for identifying unique proteins of these stains. 5 protein spots were found to express differentially. Four spots which remarkably were measured by matrix assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight

THE EFFICACY OF DICLAZURIL IN FLOOR-MANAGED REPLACEMENT CHICKENS

THEORY AND PRACTICE OF PARASITIC DISEASE CONTROL
Russian poultry farming is currently developing at a fast pace. At the same time, parasitic diseases of chickens are widespread and cause great economic damage to the industry. One of these pathologies is avian eimeriosis, which is caused by a protozoan parasite and is considered one of the main threats to poultry farming.

Epidemiology of Eimeria infections in an Austrian milking sheep flock and control with diclazuril

Veterinary Parasitology, 2005
In a flock of milking sheep from Styria (Austria), the dynamics of Eimeria oocyst excretion was monitored in the lambing season 2003-2004 and a treatment trial with 1 mg/kg diclazuril (single dose on day 0 of study) was conducted in two groups of early weaned lambs. Adult animals (n = 30 ewes, 30 yearlings) excreted oocysts of different species (weekly
