Immobilization of 1-[N-(M-Nitrobenzoyl)-α-D,L-Asparagyl]-2-Benzylbenzimidazole on Gellan
This paper studies the dicyclohexylcarbodiimide activated coupling reaction through ester-type covalent bonds of an oxazolone derived from N-(m-nitrobenzoyl)-L-asparagic acid, ring opened with 2-benzylbenzimidazole, on gellan.

2,3;5,6-Di-O-isopropylidene-1-O-(2-phenylacetyl)-α-d-mannofuranose
The title compound, C20H26O7, was prepared by esterification of 2,3;5,6-di-O-isopropylidene-α-d-mannofuranose with phenylacetic acid under standard DCC/DMAP (DCC = dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and DMAP = 4-dimethylaminopyridine) conditions.

Isolation of mycoplasma membranes by dicyclohexylcarbodiimide-induced lysis [PDF]
A simple procedure was devised to prepared membranes from Mycoplasma gallisepticum cells. The cells were lysed in an isosmotic NaCl solution by dicyclohexylcarbodiimide, which blocks ATPase activity and interferes with the regulation of cell volume. The procedure can be used to isolate membranes of other osmotically resistant mycoplasmas.

Reconstitution of Mitochondrial Oligomycin and Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide‐Sensitive ATPase [PDF]
1. Oligomycin and dicyclohexylcarbodiimide‐sensitive ATPase was isolated from beef‐heart mitochondria and treated with 3.5 M NaBr in order to remove F1. The residue, called F0, was found to consist of seven components. Five of these are stained by Coomassie blue after dodecyl‐sulfate‐polyacrylamide‐gel electrophoresis.

ABSTRACT Over the past twenty years, main group chemistry has significantly expanded its scope to include reactivities once considered the exclusive domain of transition metals. Among the emerging concepts, element‐ligand cooperation has proven to be a powerful strategy for enabling bond activation reactions but remains relatively unexplored for ...

Arsonic acid containing diblock copolymers are developed to incorporate arsonic acid moieties for surface anchoring to IONPs, along with water soluble PEG blocks to impart colloidal stability in aqueous environments. The resulting polymer‐coated IONPs are evaluated for stability in physiological media and cytocompatibility.
