Electrochemically induced density gradients are harnessed to drive gravity‐dependent convection at partially fouled electrodes. By controlling electrode orientation and surface heterogeneity, mass transport is enhanced without external stirring. This enables coupling of electrochemical reactions with enzyme catalysis on insulating domains, exemplified ...

Synthesis of BODIPY FL-tethered ridaifen-B, RID-B-BODIPY, and its localization in cancer cells
We synthesized ridaifen-B boron dipyrromethene (RID-B-BODIPY) using 2-methyl-6-nitro benzoic anhydride (MNBA)-mediated dehydration condensation reaction between amino alkyl-tethered RID and BODIPY FL.

Induction of respiratory control in submitochondrial particles by dicyclohexylcarbodiimide [PDF]
Beechey et al. (1966) have reported that DCCD* acts as an -inhibitor of oxidative phosphorylation in a fashion similar to that of oliqomycin and aurovertin. These workers (Holloway et al* # 1966: Roberton et al., 1966) have also reported that DCCD binds irreversibly to the F, fraction isolated by Kaqawa and Racker (1966).

1-INDANONE DERIVATIVES: A NOVEL ONE-POT APPROACH TO IMIDES VIA BECKMANN-LIKE REARRANGEMENT AND THEORETICAL INSIGHTS INTO THEIR INTERACTIONS WITH ACHE ENZYME [PDF]
The reaction of (E)-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-one oxime (3) with carboxylic acid anhydrides and fatty acids aiming at the formation of the respective esters unexpectedly produced imides [5a-5c and 5d-5k] (81-95% yields).

This paper by Kollár et al. reports a covalent fragment linking study against the SARS‐CoV‐2 main protease (3CLPro). Beginning with inactive fragment hits, the application of rational linker design enabled the generation of reversible covalent inhibitors exhibiting low micromolar potency. The study details some general limitations and best practices of
