Customizable Piezo‐Transmittance‐Based Multiaxial Force Sensor With Deep‐Learning‐Assisted Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Development of a soft tri‐axis piezo‐transmittance sensor with integrated LEDs and photodiodes enables multidirectional force sensing through deformation‐induced optical modulation. A tailored 1D convolutional neural network provides real‐time force direction and intensity prediction, achieving 99.6% classification accuracy and a mean squared error of ...

Autonomous Reconfigurable Modular Conductive Hydrogels for Adaptive and Degradable Bioelectronic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Bridging rigid electrodes with soft, irregular tissues demands more than conductivity alone. Modular conductive hydrogels autonomously reconfigure into conformal electrode‐tissue interfaces, coupling mixed ionic‐electronic conduction with tissue‐like mechanics, self‐healing, and degradability.

Hysteresis in an Evolutionary Labor Market with Adaptive Search [PDF]

open access: yes
This study undertakes a systematic experimental investigation of hysteresis (path dependency) in an agent-based computational labor market framework. It is shown that capacity asymmetries between work suppliers and employers can result in two distinct ...

An All‐Fabric Wearable System for Human‐Machine Interaction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An all‐fabric sensing system enables wearable human–machine interaction through a breathable, stretchable, and scalable design. The all‐fabric capacitive sensor achieves a gauge factor of 2.03 over 72% strain and supports body‐motion tracking, 90.5% hand gesture recognition, and real‐time prosthetic hand control, demonstrating a promising pathway ...

Hysteresis in magnetism : for physicists, materials scientists, and engineers /

open access: yes, 1998
This book provides a comprehensive treatment of the physics of hysteresis in magnetism and of the mathematical tools used to describe it. Hysteresis in Magnetism discusses from a unified viewpoint the relationsof hysteresis to Maxwells equations ...

Low‐Outgassing Liquid Metal–Silicone Composites for Multifunctional Space Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Integrating liquid metal microdroplets into a space‐grade silicone creates a multifunctional composite while preserving its inherent flexibility and low‐outgassing behavior. The composite has 11×$\times$ higher thermal conductivity while remaining thermally stable and maintaining a total mass loss of ≤$\le$ 1% under thermal vacuum testing.

Unemployment, growth and fiscal policy: new insights on the hysteresis hypothesis [PDF]

open access: yes
We develop a growth model with unemployment due to imperfections in the labor market. In this model, wage inertia and balanced budget rules cause a complementarity between capital and employment capable of explaining the existence of multiple equilibrium

Electric‐Field‐Assisted Spin Coating: A New Process for Adjusting Crystallization of Perovskite Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Electric‐field‐assisted spin coating is introduced as a wet‐film processing route for guiding perovskite crystallization. A transient perpendicular field produces distinct structural maxima rather than monotonic grain growth: largest scanning electron microscopy (SEM)‐derived grain size at nominal 2 kV cm−1${\rm cm}^{-1}$, largest X‐ray diffraction ...
