Dielectric Hysteresis Loops of First-Order Antiferroelectrics
Ferroelectrics, 2007Landau-Devonshire free-energy expression is applied to study the dielectric hysteresis loops of a two-sublattice antiferroelectric undergoing a first order phase transition from the paraelectric phase. This expression for the antiferroelectric sublattices corresponds to the free energy expression of ferroelectric bilayers of equal thicknesses.

Dielectric Hysteresis in Thin-Film Ferroelectrics and Relaxors
2006 IEEE International Symposium on the Applications of Ferroelectrics, 2006Heterostructures of thin-film perovskite ferroelectrics and relaxors were grown by in situ pulsed laser deposition on La 0.5 Sr 0.5 CoO 3 /MgO and Pt/sapphire. The dielectric response of the heterostructures was measured as a function of frequency, temperature, amplitude of ac field, magnitude of dc field, and varying the measurement rate.

Dielectric Hysteresis Loops of Photosensitive Relaxor Ferroelectrics
Ferroelectrics, 2005We have studied the effects of illumination by a photoactive light on the polarization switching of strontium-barium niobate crystals in quasi-static periodic electric field. The illumination results in an increase of the polarization amplitude and of the most probable coercive field.
