Broadband dielectric measurement of liquids

The 17th Annual Meeting of the IEEE Lasers and Electro-Optics Society, 2004. LEOS 2004., 2004
In this paper, we report on the use of two methods for the measurement of the dielectric properties of liquids. When combined, these methods can yield broadband, high-accuracy measurements of liquids from MHz to GHz frequencies. These methods are the shielded open-circuited holder and a novel, dielectric resonator method.

Dielectric dispersion of albumins. Studies of denaturation by dielectric measurement

Abstract The dielectric dispersion of bovine serum albumin and ovalbumin was studied before and after urea denaturation. Native bovine serum albumin was found to have an exceedingly small dielectric increment indicating that the charge distribution in this protein has a remarkably high degree of symmetry.
