Transparent Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes with Conductive Oxide Top Electrodes

Transparent perovskite light‐emitting diodes (TrPeLEDs) enable simultaneous display and transparency, expanding application possibilities. Using a metal oxide buffer layer and pulsed laser deposition, TrPeLEDs with diverse compositions and architectures are demonstrated.

Dynamic Response in Nanoelectrowetting on a Dielectric

Droplet spreading at an applied voltage underlies the function of tunable optical devices including adjustable lenses and matrix display elements. Faster response and the enhanced resolution motivate research toward miniaturization of these devices to nanoscale dimensions.

Optical dielectric response of PdO

The dielectric response functions of single-crystal PdO parallel and perpendicular to the c axis are obtained from 1.6 to 5.8 eV by analysis of ellipsometric data. Strong anisotropy is observed. Both e ∥(ω) and e ⊥(ω) show a Lorentz-oscillator-type resonance near 2.5 eV, but the strength of this oscillator for e ∥ is about twice as big as that for e

Dielectric metamaterials with electric response

Here we report an all-dielectric metamaterial with electric response. The structure consists of high-index dielectric rods arranged in a square lattice.

A review of dielectric data for a wide range of solids proves the existence of a remarkable ‘universality’ of frequency and time responses which is essentially incompatible with the multiplicity of currently accepted detailed interpretations.
