Angewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.A metal‐ and additive‐free photocatalytic Doyle–Kirmse reaction of alkynyl triazenes is described, proceeding via cyanocarbene intermediates. This strategy enables the efficient construction of highly substituted asymmetric carbon centers with broad substrate scope, delivering synthetically valuable nitriles.
