AbstractIn this paper we study the existence of generalized invariants and the periodicity of the positive solutions of max equations,xn+1=maxan∏ni=n−k+1xi,bn∏ni=n−kxi,n=0,1,…,where an,bn are sequences of positive numbers, x−k,x−k+1,…,x0∈(0,∞) and k∈{2,3,…,}.

Oscillation of delay difference equation [PDF]
Consider the following delay difference equation \[ x_{n+1}-x_n+\sum^m_{i=1}p_i(n)X_{n-k_i}=0,\;n=0,1,\dots, \] where \(p_i(n)\geq 0\) for \(n\geq 0\), \(i=1,2, \dots,m\) and \(k_i\) are positive integers. Every solution of this equation is oscillatory if there exists an integer \(l\geq 1\) such that \[ \sum_{n=0 }^\infty \biggl\{p(n) \bigl[(k+1)/k ...

Lie discrete symmetries of lattice equations
We extend two of the methods previously introduced to find discrete symmetries of differential equations to the case of difference and differential-difference equations.

Microbial exopolysaccharide production by polyextremophiles in the adaptation to multiple extremes
Polyextremophiles are microorganisms that endure multiple extreme conditions by various adaptation strategies that also include the production of exopolysaccharides (EPSs). This review provides an integrated perspective on EPS biosynthesis, function, and regulation in these organisms, emphasizing their critical role in survival and highlighting their ...

Existence results to a nonlinear p(k)-Laplacian difference equation
In the present paper, by using variational method, the existence of non-trivial solutions to an anisotropic discrete non-linear problem involving p(k)-Laplacian operator with Dirichlet boundary condition is investigated.

Phytohormone brassinosteroid‐induced gene regulation by the transcription factor BIL1/BZR1 involves redox‐dependent DNA‐binding alternation and interaction with the transcription factor PIF4. The reduced BIL1/BZR1 dimer binds preferred cis‐elements, while oxidation alters its oligomerization state and disrupts DNA‐binding ability.

On difference equation with generalized dilation
We investigate the functional equation with generalized dilation in the special weighted functional spaces. We provide some sufficient conditions for the existence of the inversion operator in the same form and consider several examples.

Three Results on the Nonlinear Differential Equations and Differential-Difference Equations
We mainly study the transcendental entire solutions of the differential equation f n ( z ) + P ( f ) = p 1 e α 1 z + p 2 e α 2 z , where p 1 , p 2 , α 1 and α 2 are nonzero

On factorization of q-difference equation for continuous q-Hermite polynomials
We argue that a customary q-difference equation for the continuous q-Hermite polynomials H_n(x|q) can be written in the factorized form as (D_q^2 - 1)H_n(x|q)=(q^{-n}-1)H_n(x|q), where D_q is some explicitly known q-difference operator.

Structural dynamics of the plant hormone receptor ETR1 in a native‐like membrane environment
The present study unveils the structural and signaling dynamics of ETR1, a key plant ethylene receptor. Using an optimized nanodisc system and solution NMR, we captured full‐length ETR1 in a native‐like membrane environment. Our findings reveal dynamic domain uncoupling and Cu(I)‐induced rigidification, providing the first evidence of metal‐triggered ...
