New Hermite-Hadamard Type Inequalities for n-Times Differentiable and s-Logarithmically Preinvex Functions

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
The concept of s-logarithmically preinvex function is introduced, and by creating an integral identity involving an n-times differentiable function, some new Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities for s-logarithmically preinvex functions are established.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Extending the Applicability of a Two-Step Chord-Type Method for Non-Differentiable Operators

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
The semi-local convergence analysis of a well defined and efficient two-step Chord-type method in Banach spaces is presented in this study. The recurrence relation technique is used under some weak assumptions.

Limited operators and differentiability

open access: yes, 2016
We characterize the limited operators by differentiability of convex continuous functions. Given Banach spaces $Y$ and $X$ and a linear continuous operator $T: Y \longrightarrow X$, we prove that $T$ is a limited operator if and only if, for every convex

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer Inequalities Associated with Twice-Differentiable Functions with Applications

open access: yesAxioms
In this work, we initially derive an integral identity that incorporates a twice-differentiable function. After establishing the recently created identity, we proceed to demonstrate some new Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer-type inequalities for twice ...

Opial inequalities for a conformable ∆-fractional calculus on time scales [PDF]

open access: yesMathematica Moravica
In this paper, an Opial-type inequality is introduced on time scale for a conformal ∆-fractional differentiable function of order a, a ∈ (0, 1]. In the case where the certain weight functions are included, one generalization of the Opial inequality is ...

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Some Newton’s inequalities on co-ordinates for Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals

open access: yesMiskolc Mathematical Notes
In this paper, we give an identity involving Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals and partially differentiable function of two variables. Then, we use the newly established identity and prove some new Newton’s type inequalities for differentiable co ...

A Measure Zero UDS in the Heisenberg Group

open access: yesBruno Pini Mathematical Analysis Seminar, 2016
We show that the Heisenberg group contains a measure zero set N such that every real-valued Lipschitz function is Pansu differentiable at a point of N.
