Hole-Assisted Graded-Index Four-LP-Mode Fiber With Low Differential Mode Group Delay Over C+L Band
In this paper, in order to achieve low differential mode group delay (DMGD) over the C+L band, we propose the hole-assisted graded-index few mode fiber (FMF) design supporting four nondegenerated linear polarized (LP) modes for a mode division ...

Symmetry Approach to Integration of Ordinary Differential Equations with Retarded Argument [PDF]
We review studies on the application of Lie group methods to delay ordinary differential equations (DODEs). For first- and second-order DODEs with a single delay parameter that depends on independent and dependent variables, the group classifications are

Angle-of-Arrival Estimation of Broadband Microwave Signals Based on Microwave Photonic Filtering
We propose and experimentally demonstrate a photonic approach to estimate the angle-of-arrival (AOA) of broadband microwave signals. Using an integrated polarization-division multiplexing Mach–Zehnder modulator and a differential group-delay ...

ABSTRACT Background Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, with an overall survival now surpassing 90% in developed countries. However, treatments are not without adverse effects. In this study, we apply the severe toxicity‐free survival (STFS) framework to determine the prevalence of 21 physician‐defined severe ...

Numerical Implementation of the Coarse-Step Method with a Varying Differential-Group Delay [PDF]
The effect of having a fixed differential-group delay term in the coarse-step method results in a periodic pattern in the autocorrelation function. We solve this problem by inserting a varying DGD term at each integration step, according to a Gaussian distribution.

ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.
