Abstract The term semantic primitives refers to a set of basic, atomic concepts from which all other (compound) concepts are constructed. It presupposes the principle of compositionality—the idea that complex items or expressions can be formed by combining simpler constituents.

Using GPT‐4 to Augment Imbalanced Data for Automatic Scoring
Abstract Machine learning‐based automatic scoring faces challenges with imbalanced student responses across scoring categories. To address this, we introduce a novel text data augmentation framework that leverages GPT‐4, a generative large language model specifically tailored for imbalanced datasets in automatic scoring.

Abstract Classification schemes are a key way of organizing bibliographic knowledge, yet the way that classification schemes communicate their information to classifiers receives little attention. This article takes a novel approach by exploring the visual aspects contained within classification schemes.

Differential subordination and superordination of analytic functions defined by the multiplier transformation [PDF]
Differential subordination and superordination results are obtained for analytic functions in the open unit disk which are associated with the multiplier transformation. These results are obtained by investigating appropriate classes of admissible functions. Sandwich-type results are also obtained.

ABSTRACT Introduction Community Advisory Boards (CABs) represent a critical methodological approach to center research on the experiences of patients and families and minimise power inequities between ‘researcher’ and ‘subject’. This approach can be especially important to inform work related to structural racism and racial and ethnic disparities in ...

Differential subordination and superordination for certain subclasses of p-valent functions [PDF]
In this paper, we study applications of the differential subordination and superordination of analytic p-valent functions in the open unit disc associated with certain operator defined by the Wright generalized hypergeometric function. Sandwich-type

Subordination and superordination for univalent solutions for fractional differential equations
In this paper the authors establish the existence and uniqueness of univalent solutions for fractional differential equations. The existence is obtained by applying the Schauder fixed point theorem while the uniqueness is obtained by the Banach fixed point theorem.
