Adaptive selection method of differential privacy GAN gradient clipping thresholds

open access: yes网络与信息安全学报, 2018
A method of adaptive selection of differential privacy GAN gradient clipping threshold was proposed. The method assumes that a small portion of public data that is identically distributed with the private data can be accessed,a batch of data is randomly ...

Fully-differential top-pair production at a lepton collider: from threshold to continuum

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We present an approach to predict exclusive W + b W − b ¯ $$ {W}^{+}b{W}^{-}\overline{b} $$ production at lepton colliders that correctly describes the top-anti-top threshold as well as the continuum region.

Differential Read/Write 7T SRAM With Bit-Interleaved Structure for Near-Threshold Operation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Near-threshold voltage ( $V_{th}$ ) operation is an effective method for lowering energy consumption. However, it increases the impact of $V_{th}$ variation significantly, which makes it difficult for previously proposed static random access memory ...

Differentially Private Release and Learning of Threshold Functions [PDF]

open access: yes2015 IEEE 56th Annual Symposium on Foundations of Computer Science, 2015
We prove new upper and lower bounds on the sample complexity of $(ε, δ)$ differentially private algorithms for releasing approximate answers to threshold functions. A threshold function $c_x$ over a totally ordered domain $X$ evaluates to $c_x(y) = 1$ if $y \le x$, and evaluates to $0$ otherwise.

Detect concrete cracks based on OTSU algorithm with differential image

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
Aiming at the detection of concrete surface cracks, based on digital image processing technology, OTSU algorithm is processed based on differential image. First, the Gaussian filter is acted on the original image to obtain the smoothed image.

Next-to-leading power resummed rapidity distributions near threshold for Drell-Yan and diphoton production

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We consider Drell-Yan production and QCD-induced diphoton production and compute their rapidity distributions up to next-to-leading power (NLP) in the threshold variable.

Intensive Differential Thresholds for Octave-Band Noise [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1959
This study investigated the effects of 4 band widths of noise of different center frequencies presented at three sensation levels on the size of the differential threshold (ΔI) for intensity. Eleven untrained subjects and three trained subjects served in a study employing the method of limits. Analysis of the data showed that ΔI's for a low octave band

Percolation Threshold and Depression in Properties of Polymer Nanocomposites

open access: yesMaterials Research, 2022
Percolation threshold is an important phenomenon to be addressed when producing nanocomposites, especially because the literature suggests a depression of properties near this region.

Design of the Threshold-Controllable Memristor Emulator Based on NDR Characteristics

open access: yesMicromachines, 2022
Due to the high manufacturing cost of memristors, an equivalent emulator has been employed as one of the mainstream approaches of memristor research. A threshold-type memristor emulator based on negative differential resistance (NDR) characteristics is ...

Serological Benefit of SARS‐CoV‐2 Vaccination Relative to Infection in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.
