Abstract In the previous chapter we presented the Continuous DCT and gave some simple applications. Here we focus on its use in establishing differentiability of functions defined by integrals, as foreshadowed in Chapter 19. The rudiments of the method are covered in 20.2-20.6; other sections may be studied only as needed.
