Extra-Cranial Applications of Diffusion-Weighted MRI
Continuous improvement in MRI technology in recent years has led to the application of diffusion-weighted MR imaging in organ systems outside the brain.

In Vivo Microplastic Detection With Photoacoustic Imaging
ABSTRACT Microplastics are posing an escalating threat to both ecological systems and human health. Yet, current methods for investigating their bioaccumulation are highly invasive, requiring destructive analysis of ex vivo tissues via mass spectrometry, dye labelling, or Raman microspectroscopy.

Targeting the PDK1/c‐Myc/SOX10 Signaling in Oligodendrocytes Alleviates Neuropathic Pain
This work reveals that oligodendrocyte homeostasis, mediated by PDK1, is a critical determinant of neuropathic pain (NPP) pathogenesis. Disruption of PDK1 in oligodendrocytes impairs SOX10‐dependent myelination programs through c‐Myc accumulation, leading to disrupted myelination and the pathophysiology of NPP.

Phase Errors in Diffusion-Weighted Imaging
One of the greatest technical challenges for diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) is overcoming the phase errors originating from macroscopic motion, that is from bulk and physiologic motion, while simultaneously retaining its sensitivity to microscopic ...

Autoimmune Encephalitis in Acute Care—Pathology, Diagnosis, and Management
ABSTRACT Autoimmune encephalitis (AE) is characterized by immune‐mediated inflammation of the brain parenchyma, presenting with various neurological syndromes, including but not limited to seizures, altered consciousness, neuropsychiatric symptoms, and movement disorders.

This study explores the opposing effects of the mGluR2 and mGluR3 receptors on amyloid precursor protein processing. mGluR2 promotes amyloidogenic cleavage, while mGluR3 favors non‐amyloidogenic pathways. Using a brain‐penetrant nanobody as a mGluR2 positive allosteric modulator, the study uncovers how its chronic activation aggravates amyloid‐β burden

Diffusion-Weighted MRI in Cranial Bone Marrow Metastasis
Purpose: Diffusion-weighted MR imaging (DW-MRI) is generally applied to diagnose intra-axial brain pathologies such as parenchyma metastasis, abscesses, and infarcts in patients with systemic cancer.

We investigate whether Montessori and traditional schooling systems shape the developmental trajectory of large‐scale brain dynamics in different ways. We quantify the arrow of time (“non‐reversibility”) in neural activity during resting state and movie‐watching, revealing distinct maturational patterns.
