QC-Automator: Deep Learning-Based Automated Quality Control for Diffusion MR Images
Quality assessment of diffusion MRI (dMRI) data is essential prior to any analysis, so that appropriate pre-processing can be used to improve data quality and ensure that the presence of MRI artifacts do not affect the results of subsequent image ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Shape reconstruction within an optical diffusion model
Shape reconstruction with an optical diffuser has some significant advantages such as high-precision depth estimation with a small lens, depth estimation for distant objects, and less sensitivity to lens aberrations.

Tailoring atomic diffusion for in situ fabrication of different heterostructures
Atomic diffusion is a powerful tool for the synthesis of heterostructures, even though controlled atomic diffusion is difficult to achieve. Here, the authors control solid-solid atomic diffusion between an Ag nanowire and a Te nanowire, producing 1D ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

New approach to stochastic optimal control and applications to economics [PDF]
This paper provides new insights into the solution of optimal stochastic control problems by means of a system of partial differential equations, which characterize directly the optimal control.

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Information system diffusion in organizations - a control mechanism perspective
Research streams emphasize that after the excitement of adopting a new IS innovation, most do not employ the innovation to its full potential thus creating an assimilation gap.
