Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

MDP3: A Multimodal 3-D Diffusion Policy for Visuomotor Control

open access: yesIEEE Access
Diffusion-based imitation learning has emerged as a dominant paradigm for robotic manipulation, offering stable training and multimodal action modeling. However, state-of-the-art diffusion policies predominantly rely on isolated sensory modalities—

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Droop-Free Distributed Energy Storage Control Based on Diffusion Algorithm

open access: yesShanghai Jiaotong Daxue xuebao
A droop-free distributed energy storage control strategy based on the diffusion algorithm is proposed to address the inability of droop control to simultaneously achieve bus voltage stability and accurate power distribution among energy storage systems ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Diffusion Predictive Control with Constraints

open access: yesCoRR
Diffusion models have become popular for policy learning in robotics due to their ability to capture high-dimensional and multimodal distributions. However, diffusion policies are stochastic and typically trained offline, limiting their ability to handle unseen and dynamic conditions where novel constraints not represented in the training data must be ...

Targeting transcription factors associated with hemoglobinopathies: Lessons from successful interventions and implications for cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes the transcription factors, repressive chromatin‐modifying complexes, and epigenetic mechanisms that control fetal hemoglobin repression. Notably, many regulators of γ‐globin silencing also function in transcriptional and epigenetic networks that drive cancer, highlighting opportunities to translate advances in hemoglobinopathy ...

Anatomical Control in Text-to-Motion Diffusion Using Joint Condition Vectors

open access: yesIEEE Access
We present a text-to-motion diffusion framework that integrates explicit anatomical control using a Joint Condition Vector (JCV). The JCV specifies the minimum, maximum, and start angles for six lower-body channels—left/right hip abduction/flexion

Controlled diffusions with constraints

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1990
Controlled vector diffusion processes driven by a vector Wiener process are considered. It is desired to minimize the time average of a functional of the state and control, subject to a finite number of constraints of the same type. The authors first derive convexity and compactness properties for the invariant measures resulting from the application ...
