Evolving Platinum‐Copper Nanostructures for Enhanced Photothermal Therapy and Controlled Copper Release in Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Platinum‐Copper bimetallic nanoparticles may evolve depending on their synthesis under tumor microenvironment conditions and play a dual role as chemotherapeutic agents after releasing Cu ions and as near infrared photothermal agents with the Pt‐rich remaining frames.

Influence of heat treatment and calcium sequestering salts on in vitro protein digestion in blends of skimmed buffalo and bovine milk

open access: yesFood Chemistry Advances
This study investigated the impact of the addition of 5 mM trisodium citrate (TSC) or disodium hydrogen phosphate (DSHP) and heat treatment (85 or 95 °C for 5 min) on the in vitro gastrointestinal digestibility of proteins in blends (0:100, 25:75, 50:50,

Rational Fine‐Tuning of MOF Pore Metrics: Enhanced SO2 Capture and Sensing with Optimal Multi‐Site Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.
