Research of compressed sensing for predistortion with relatively low sampling frequency

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2016
In order to improve the TWTA digital predistortion linearizer with relatively low sampling frequency, the LUT and indirect learning architecture were used, which was cumbersome.

Spurious-Free Dynamic Range Augmentation for Digital-to-Analog Converters using PSO-PID Adaptive Algorithms [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science
In this paper, we propose a new method for enhancing the spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of digital-to-analog converters (DACs) by implementing a digital predistorter to suppress harmonic distortion.

Analysis and Digital Predistortion of in-Band Cross Modulation in Concurrent Multi-Band Transmitters

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
In multiband transmitters where two or more radios share the same power amplifier (PA), interferences can usually be kept below an acceptable level with the help of multi-band digital predistortion (DPD) techniques.

OFDM-based beam-oriented digital predistortion for massive MIMO

open access: yes, 2021
Linearization of massive MIMO arrays is a significant computational challenge that typically scales with the number of antennas. In this work, we introduce a beam-oriented digital predistortion (DPD) scheme for OFDM-based massive MIMO systems that ...

Size‐ and Depth‐Extended Aerial 3D Display Using Fresnel‐Lens‐Enhanced AIRR

open access: yesJournal of the Society for Information Display, Volume 34, Issue 5, Page 451-460, May 2026.
A size‐ and depth‐extended three‐dimensional (3D) aerial display is realized by combining a light‐field display with a magnifying lens and a Fresnel‐lens‐enhanced aerial imaging by retro‐reflection (LeAIRR) system. The magnifying lens enlarges the virtual light‐field display plane without increasing the physical panel size, extending the aerial image ...

Modeling and Optimization of Frequency‐Doubled Radio‐Over‐Fiber Link Based on Deep Learning Technique

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
This article proposes a deep learning (DL) approach for modeling and optimizing frequency‐doubled radio‐over‐fiber links. By collectively replacing traditional components with DL model, accurate system evaluation is achieved. Moreover, through an end‐to‐end architecture, performance optimization is accomplished.

Digital Predistortion with ROVA

open access: yes2025 105th ARFTG Microwave Measurement Conference (ARFTG)
To improve the linearity and efficiency of power amplifiers (PAs), it is nowadays paramount to predistort them using digital predistortion (DPD). An accurate model is needed for the predistorter, and this paper proposes and shows that the frequency-domain ROVA (seRies expansiOn of the Volterra Approach) model fits perfectly here.

Contribution of non‐orthogonal multiple access signalling to practical multibeam satellite deployments

open access: yesInternational Journal of Satellite Communications and Networking, Volume 44, Issue 1, Page 73-88, January/February 2026.
The potential gains of NOMA were evaluated in a satellite system with heterogeneous receivers, after considering the use of specific DVB‐S2X MODCODs, along with the impact of non‐linearities. It was concluded that a judicious power allocation in NOMA, jointly optimized with the IBO of the PAs, can yield significant sum‐rate gains.

Time and phase alignment of distributed gateways: Theoretical analysis and experimental demonstration

open access: yesInternational Journal of Satellite Communications and Networking, Volume 44, Issue 1, Page 47-59, January/February 2026.
The performance limitation in multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) feeder links due to time and phase misalignment of the ground stations is investigated. Time and phase distribution over optical fiber is considered as an approach to achieve the synchronization requirements.

A 24‐28 GHz GaAs Reflection‐Type Phase Shifter MMIC for 5G Mm‐Wave Application

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Reflective‐Type Phase Shifters (RTPS) can be implemented in GaAs technology operating at 24‐28 GHz. By incorporating an enhanced multi‐resonant structure with Schottky diodes, a relative phase shift of up to 180° is achieved. ABSTRACT This letter presents a millimetre‐wave continuously tunable reflection‐type phase shifter (RTPS) using a 0.25 µm GaAs ...
