Izdelava digitalnega modela površja in ortopodob iz stereo posnetkov Ikonos, zajetih v istem preletu : Digital surface model and ortho-images generation from Ikonos in-track stereo images [PDF]

open access: yesGeodetski Vestnik, 2010

Deep Learning for Soil and Crop Segmentation from Remotely Sensed Data

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2019
One of the most challenging problems in precision agriculture is to correctly identify and separate crops from the soil. Current precision farming algorithms based on artificially intelligent networks use multi-spectral or hyper-spectral data to derive ...

DERIVATION OF BUILDING STRUCTURES FROM NOISY DIGITAL SURFACE MODELS

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2023
Abstract. In this work we present a novel approach for segementation of a noisy DSM to building structures and other non-building structures – normally trees – and the modeling of them. Mostly Digital Surface Models (DSMs) from only a few aerial images or only from one pair of satellite images tend to be very noisy and lack good quality especially in ...

Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy due to Biallelic Pathogenic Variants in PIGM

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective PIGM encodes a critical enzyme in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchor biosynthesis pathway. While promoter‐region mutations in PIGM have been associated with a relatively mild phenotype characterized by portal vein thrombosis and absence seizures, recent evidence suggests that coding‐region mutations result in a more severe

Accurate Bathymetric Maps From Underwater Digital Imagery Without Ground Control

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science, 2020
Structure-from-Motion (SfM) photogrammetry can be used with digital underwater photographs to generate high-resolution bathymetry and orthomosaics with millimeter-to-centimeter scale resolution at relatively low cost.

Clinical Practice Guideline for Evaluation and Management of Peripheral Nervous System Manifestations in Sjögren's Disease

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies.

Experimental Evaluation of 100Cr6 Steel Microindented Surfaces Under Lubricated Nonconformal Point Contacts

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

Monitoring of Merapi Volcano Deformation Using Interferometry Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) Technique [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The Merapi volcano is the most active volcano in Indonesia until now, because of eruption occur every two or five years. To minimize the impact of volcanic eruptions need to monitor the volcanic activity, one effort in monitoring is to monitor the ...

Harnessing Fungal Biowelding for Constructing Mycelium‐Engineered Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Mycelium‐bound composites (MBCs) offer low‐carbon alternatives for construction, yet interfacial bonding remains a critical challenge. This review examines fungal biowelding as a biocompatible adhesive, elucidating mycelium‐mediated interfacial mechanisms and their role in material assembly. Strategies to optimize biowelding are discussed, highlighting
