New phenolic diglycerides from Aegilops ovata

Phytochemistry, 1978
Abstract Two novel phenolic diglycerides have been isolated from Aegilops ovata together with scopoletin and p-coumaric acid. Spectroscopic evidence and a synthesis confirmed the proposed structures which are presented together with the CMR data for these diglycerides and related model compounds.

Regioisomerenreine Mono‐ und Diglyceride als Synthesebausteine

Lipid / Fett, 1993

Lipase catalysed isomerisation of 1,2-(2,3)-diglyceride into 1,3-diglyceride. The crucial role of water

Biotechnology Letters, 1991
Enzyme catalyzed isomerisation of 1,2-dipalmitin into the 1,3-isomer is shown to occur with 1,3 regiospecific lipases. The mechanism of this transformation is elucidated and the crucial role of the water still present in the enzyme preparation is shown.

Synthesis of CDP-diglyceride from phosphatidylinositol and CMP

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 1977
A reaction in which CDP-diglyceride and inositol are formed from 1-stearoyl, 2-arachidonoyl phosphatidylinositol and CMP occurs readily in dialyzed microsomal preparations from the mouse pancreas. The reaction is Mn2+-dependent, and it is inhibited by each of the two products, CDP-diglyceride and myoinositol. It is presumed to involve the back-reaction

Mono‐ and diglycerides in industrial fats

Journal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, 1947
Summary The presence of mono‐ and diglycerides in raw and hydrolyzed fats and their effect on the yields of fatty acids obtained by distillation is discussed. Experiments carried out under conditions suitable for the esterification of mono‐ and diglycerides with fatty acids to form triglycerides indicate the presence of these mono‐ and diglycerides.
