PENGGUNAAN ALGORITMA DIJKSTRA DALAM PERENCANAAN RUTE EVAKUASI BENCANA LONGSOR DI KOTA SEMARANG

open access: yesGeoplanning: Journal of Geomatics and Planning, 2015
Finding fastest route is necessary for evacuation process when a disaster happened. Route that generated slightly made evacuation process easily. The availability about route distance and line direction can be considered when route finding process takes ...

Resonant line transfer in a fog: Using Lyman-alpha to probe tiny structures in atomic gas

open access: yes, 2017
Motivated by observational and theoretical work which both suggest very small scale ($\lesssim 1\,$pc) structure in the circum-galactic medium of galaxies and in other environments, we study Lyman-$\alpha$ (Ly$\alpha$) radiative transfer in an extremely ...

Policy Evaluation for Climate Mitigations in the European Agricultural Sector—A Comparison of Policy Options at Micro and Macro Level

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The purpose of this paper is to discuss the micro‐ and macro‐outcomes for the standard neoclassical carbon tax (whose burden falls on the producers) versus the implication of a budget neutral, performance‐based EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) focusing on non‐CO2 emission (N2O and CH4, measured in CO2eq) reduction, especially in the ...

Comparison of Dijkstra dan Floyd-Warshall Algorithm to Determine the Best Route of Train

open access: yesIJID (International Journal on Informatics for Development), 2019
This study aims to find out the comparison of Dijkstra and Floyd-Warshall algorithms in finding the best path on a train trip.  The best route is the path, which has the minimum price of a train journey.

Simulation and Performance Analysis of MP-OLSR for Mobile Ad hoc Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) consist of a collection of wireless mobile nodes which dynamically exchange data without reliance on a fixed base station or a wired backbone network, which makes routing a crucial issue for the design of a ad hoc networks.

The predatory behavior of ants: an impressive panoply of morphological adaptations

open access: yesInsect Science, EarlyView.
This review focuses on predation in ants, showing the wide diversity of cases from solitary foraging to group hunting tactics, as well as the evolution of mandible shape frequently adapted to capture specific prey. Although most ants are generalist feeders, finding their sugary substances directly on plants or indirectly via sap‐sucking insects, some ...

New algorithms for the dual of the convex cost network flow problem with application to computer vision [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Motivated by various applications to computer vision, we consider an integer convex optimization problem which is the dual of the convex cost network flow problem.

Small-scale Intensity Mapping: Extended Halos as a Probe of the Ionizing Escape Fraction and Faint Galaxy Populations during Reionization

open access: yes, 2017
We present a new method to quantify the value of the escape fraction of ionizing photons, and the existence of ultra-faint galaxies clustered around brighter objects during the epoch of cosmic reionization, using the diffuse Ly$\alpha$, continuum and H ...

Colour Morphs as Alternative Solutions to the Trade‐Off Predicted by the Immuno‐Competence Handicap Hypothesis

open access: yesIntegrative Zoology, EarlyView.
In this study, we tested whether white and yellow morphs of the common wall lizard (Podarcis muralis) adopt alternative strategies shaped by the immuno‐competence handicap hypotheses (ICHH). We found that testosterone‐induced immune suppression was stronger in white males, while aggression decreased in both morphs.

Path Selection for Quantum Repeater Networks

open access: yes, 2012
Quantum networks will support long-distance quantum key distribution (QKD) and distributed quantum computation, and are an active area of both experimental and theoretical research.
