A partial molar volume for B 2 O 3 in haplogranitic melt [PDF]
The densitiesa nd thermal expansivitieso f boron-bearingh aplogranitic glassesa nd Iiquids have been determined using a combination of scanning .florimetry and dilatomelry. B2O3 reduces the density of haplogranitic liquids (at 750'C) from 2.295 t 0.006 g

Experimental strategies for the investigation of low temperature properties in granitic and pegmatitic melts [PDF]
The physical behavior of silicate melts during the final stages of intrusion in the earth's crust are poorly understood. In particular, the low temperature limit of igneous petrogenesis is poorly constrained.

Graphite Co‐Intercalation Chemistry in Sodium‐Ion Batteries
Traditional intercalation chemistry in lithium‐ion batteries cannot allow sodium storage in graphite. The co‐intercalation chemistry changes the situation. It enables reversible and ultrafast sodium storage in graphite. Revisiting challenges and summarizing recent advances are of significant importance to exploit the full potential of graphite in ...

Magnesium (Mg) doping is explored as a stabilization strategy for high‐capacity LiNi0.8Mn0.1Co0.1O2 (NMC811) cathodes. Three doping routes are compared, revealing that solid‐state lithiation delivers the best cycling stability. Operando X‐ray diffraction and electrochemical dilatometry link reduced cation mixing and lattice stabilization to improved ...
