Kanzo, 1977 症例は64歳男性.抗Ca〓性冠循環増強剤Diltiazem hydrochloride (Herbesser)の二度目の服用後,全身掻痒感と黄疸,食欲不振が出現し,総コレステロール,中性脂肪,γ-GTPの著明な上昇とトランスアミナーゼの中等度上昇が認められた.また,同時に全身の発疹と一過性の好酸球増多がみられた.肝生検像は主に小葉中心帯に軽度の脂肪変性と肝細胞内胆汁うっ滞像,小巣壊死,グ鞘に軽度の単核細胞浸潤を認めた.本症は薬剤によるリンパ球刺激試験が陽性であった.
