Griffiths' phase in dilute ferroelectrics
Ferroelectrics, 1997Abstract The analog of the Griffiths' phase with nonanalytic field dependence of polarization and nonexponential relaxation is shown to exist in dilute ferroelectric in spite of the presence of the long-range dipole-dipole interaction. The Griffiths' anomalies emerge as a consequence of condensation of the localized neutral band edge modes having the ...

THE SATURATION DILUTE-PHASE CONCENTRATION OF MATTER
Chemical Engineering Communications, 1992Abstract Accumulating evidence points to a modified Froude number as a universal quantitative correlant of the dilute phase-dense phase equilibria of mass. It allows that molecules as well as particles are distinguished from others of equal dimensions by a single shape factor which accounts for relative dimensions in all spatial planes, surface ...

Phase behavior of the Pluronic P103/water system in the dilute and semi-dilute regimes
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2009The detailed temperature-composition phase diagram of the P103/water system in the dilute and semidilute regions is reported here using density and ultrasound velocity measurements, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), rheometry and dynamic (DLS) and static light scattering (SLS).

Viscosity of the3He-4He dilute phase in the mixing chamber of a dilution refrigerator
Journal of Low Temperature Physics, 1990The viscosity of the dilute phase of a3He-4He solution has been measured using a vibrating wire viscometer situated in the mixing chamber of a dilution refrigerator. The viscosity was extracted from the damping of the resonator for temperatures between 3.7 mK and 100 mK. In the low-temperature Fermi liquid regime ηT2=48×10−9 N sec m−2 K2.

Gas‐phase ignition of a dilute spray
Journal of the Chinese Institute of Engineers, 1988Abstract Using asymptotic perturbation analysis in the limit of large activation energy, and assuming the spray is dilute such that the droplet effects are of e order, the behavior of gas‐phase ignition of a stagnant dilute spray is described on the basis of the strength of a chemical reaction in a gas‐phase mixture, the heat loss to the preheating of ...

Phase diagrams for dilute spin glasses
Journal of Physics C: Solid State Physics, 1985A generalised, dilute, infinite-ranged Ising spin-glass model is introduced and studied as a function of the concentration p and temperature T. The phase diagram is investigated and paramagnetic (P), ferromagnetic (F), spin glass (SG) and mixed (M) phases, meeting at a multicritical point (p*,T*), are identified.
