Analytical thermodynamics of a strongly attractive three-component Fermi gas in one dimension
Ultracold three-component atomic Fermi gases in one dimension are expected to exhibit rich physics due to the presence of trions and different pairing states.

A TV-Gaussian prior for infinite-dimensional Bayesian inverse problems and its numerical implementations [PDF]
Many scientific and engineering problems require to perform Bayesian inferences in function spaces, in which the unknowns are of infinite dimension. In such problems, choosing an appropriate prior distribution is an important task.

A Hybrid Reproducing Kernel Particle Method for Three-Dimensional Helmholtz Equation
The reproducing kernel particle method (RKPM) is one of the most universal meshless methods. However, when solving three-dimensional (3D) problems, the computational efficiency is relatively low because of the complexity of the shape function.

Calculations with a large amount of data (or data of a large dimension) are usually reduced to sets of calculations with fairly small amounts of them.

First results for the Coulomb gauge integrals using NDIM [PDF]
The Coulomb gauge has at least two advantadges over other gauge choices in that bound states between quarks and studies of confinement are easier to understand in this gauge.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Electrostatics in Fractal Geometry: Fractional Calculus Approach
The electrostatics properties of composite materials with fractal geometry are studied in the framework of fractional calculus. An electric field in a composite dielectric with a fractal charge distribution is obtained in the spherical symmetry case. The

A matrix formulation for small-x singlet evolution [PDF]
We propose a matrix evolution equation in (x,kt)-space for flavour singlet, unintegrated quark and gluon densities, which generalizes DGLAP and BFKL equations in the relevant limits.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These
