Bu çalışmada, Fuyu Trabzon hurması çeşidine ait meyvelere hasat sonrası Guar gam yüzey kaplama uygulamalarının (0, %1, %2 ve %3) meyve kalitesi ve muhafaza süresi üzerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Uygulamalar sonrasında meyveler soğuk hava deposunda 0-1oC ve %85-90 oransal nemli ortamda 3 ay süre ile muhafaza altına alınmıştır.
