Adrenaline Auto‐Injectors for Preventing Fatal Anaphylaxis

open access: yesClinical &Experimental Allergy, Volume 55, Issue 1, Page 19-35, January 2025.
During 35 years of increasing Adrenaline Autoinjector prescribing, there has been no obvious reduction in numbers of fatal anaphylaxis cases. Animal and human studies suggest intravenous adrenaline infusion, with appropriate fluid resuscitation, prevents fatal anaphylaxis.

Deterministic modelling of asymptomatic spread and disease stage progression in vaccine preventable infectious diseases

open access: yesQuantitative Biology, Volume 12, Issue 4, Page 400-413, December 2024.
Abstract This study introduces a deterministic formulation for modelling the asymptotic spread of a vaccine preventable disease as well as the different stages for the progression of the disease. We derive the formula for the associated basic reproduction number.
