Stress in Directed Graphs: A Generalization of Graph Stress

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics
In graph theory, centrality measures are used to identify the most important or influential nodes within a network. Stress centrality is one such measure, which helps quantify how “stressed” a node is within the overall graph structure based on the ...

Direct products of complete graphs

open access: yes, 2013
Prvi del disertacije je posvečen neodvisnim dominantnim množicam direktnega produkta štirih polnih grafov. Eksplicitno so opisane T1-množice, tj. množice, kjer se poljubni par vozlišč ujema na natanko enem mestu.

Product Operations on q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Graphs

open access: yes, 2019
The q-rung orthopair fuzzy graph is an extension of intuitionistic fuzzy graph and Pythagorean fuzzy graph. In this paper, the degree and total degree of a vertex in q-rung orthopair fuzzy graphs are firstly defined.

Baseline Regional Cholinergic Denervation Predicts Cognitive Trajectories in Moderate Parkinson Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Cognitive decline is a disabling and variable feature of Parkinson disease (PD). While cholinergic system degeneration is linked to cognitive impairments in PD, most prior research reported cross‐sectional associations. We aimed to fill this gap by investigating whether baseline regional cerebral vesicular acetylcholine transporter ...

Machine Learning Approaches for FDM-Based 3D Printing: A Literature Review

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Three-dimensional (3D) printing has become a widely used manufacturing technology, but predicting the mechanical and physical properties of printed parts remains a critical challenge.

A Depolarizing Leak in Sodium Bicarbonate Cotransporter NBCe1 Causes Brain Edema

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives SLC4A4 encodes electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter NBCe1, prominently expressed in kidney and brain. Recessive loss‐of‐function variants in SLC4A4 cause proximal renal tubular acidosis, no brain edema. In the brain, NBCe1 is expressed by astrocytes, where it regulates pH and mediates astrocyte volume changes.

The Chromatic Number of Product Graphs

open access: yes, 2013
This main goal of this paper is to answer the following question: for which graph products can the chromatic number of the product graph be written as a function of the chromatic numbers of the original two products. We approach this\ud question first by

Uniqueness of Bipartite Factors in Prime Factorizations Over the Direct Product of Graphs

open access: yes, 2013
While it has been known for some time that connected non-bipartite graphs have unique prime factorizations over the direct product, the same cannot be said of bipartite graphs.

ALDOA Promotes Glycolysis and NLRP3/GSDMD Pyroptosis to Accelerate ALS Progression

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is characterized by progressive motor neuron degeneration. Glycolytic dysregulation is implicated in disease progression, yet the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study investigates how Aldolase A (ALDOA) drives ALS progression through glycolysis‐mediated motor neuron pyroptosis.
