Two Adaptive Sliding Mode Control Algorithms for Vehicle Stability Enhancement
This paper discusses two adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC) algorithms for enhancing vehicle stability through direct yaw moment control (DYC). DYC is based on a logic process derived from the understeering and oversteering behavior of a cornering ...

Abstract In a large sample of adult crab‐eating macaques, we quantified sexual dimorphism in size, shape, and covariance across the whole skull and among anatomical regions of the cranium and mandible. All regions showed significant mean sex differences, but the magnitude of size and shape dimorphism varied substantially.

Integrated Control With DYC and DSS for 4WID Electric Vehicles
This paper investigates the front-wheel differential steering system (DSS) for a four-wheel independent-drive (4WID) electric vehicle (EV) with a steer-by-wire (SBW) system in case of the steering failure.

Abstract Macaws are renowned for processing dry, mechanically resistant fruits, yet the species‐level anatomical and functional correlates of this performance remain incompletely resolved. We examined the feeding apparatus of the Blue‐and‐yellow Macaw (Ara ararauna) using an integrated approach that combines osteology, myology, and bite‐force estimates

Intelligent weighted hierarchical direct yaw moment control for distributed drive electric vehicles
Distributed Drive Electric Vehicles (DDEVs) equipped with four-wheel independent drive (4WID) systems possess the capability to independently generate both driving and braking torques.

Abstract Intraspecific variation in social organization (IVSO) within primate populations can arise due to male mating competition. Verreaux's sifaka (Propithecus verreauxi) populations exhibit both single‐male and multi‐male groups, providing an opportunity to examine the relationship between male competitive ability and social organization.

Lane‐changing control strategy for distributed drive vehicles considering yaw stability
Intelligent vehicles are prone to dangerous issues such as sideslip and instability when changing lanes to avoid obstacles under some extreme conditions.

Seven‐year surveillance reveals a cold‐adapted OsHV‐1 lineage in blood clams, with disease onset at 13°C—3–5°C lower than in oysters—and identifies asymptomatic carriers and facility effluent as key transmission routes. ABSTRACT Ostreid herpesvirus 1 (OsHV‐1) poses a major threat to bivalve aquaculture, but its impact on blood clams (Anadara ...
