Direction of Arrival Estimation Using Augmentation of Coprime Arrays

open access: yesInformation, 2018
Recently, direction of arrival (DOA) estimation premised on the sparse arrays interpolation approaches, such as co-prime arrays (CPA) and nested array, have attained extensive attention because of the effectiveness and capability of providing higher ...

Direction of arrival estimation for BLE: Antenna array design and evaluation

open access: yesAEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2023
The use of smart antenna arrays in wireless communication systems is becoming increasingly popular, as they improve the performance of the radio link and allow the integration of communication and sensing functions. In this paper, we present the design and performance evaluation of a uniform circular antenna array (UCAA) with 12 monopole antennas and ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Direction of arrival measurements at UHF

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1989
Direction of arrival measurements have been made at 870 MHz in an urban environment. Examples are given showing the multipath components arriving at the receiver after reflection and scattering from buildings. A synthetic aperture technique is used to measure the directions of arrival.

Direction of arrival estimation using nonsingular spherical ESPRIT [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2018
The eigenbeam-ESPRIT (EB-ESPRIT) is a parametric method that estimates the direction of arrival of source signals using a recurrence relation of spherical harmonics. In EB-ESPRIT, the sound-source elevation angle is estimated from an arctangent function, which diverges near the equator in the spherical coordinate system and inevitably induces an ill ...

Direction of arrival estimation using a cluster of beams in a cone-shaped digital array radar' [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper some potential system and processing advantages of conformal cone shaped digital array radar have been investigated, in particular in relation to potential alternative approaches for angle estimation with respect to the traditional ...

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

An enhanced expanding and shift sparse array based on the coprime array and nested array

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation
In recent years, sparse arrays based on the fourth‐order difference coarray (FODCA) have received increased research attention due to their small number of array elements and large consecutive virtual arrays.

Direction of Arrival Finding Using Irregular Non-Rectilinear Arrays

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper presents a new radio direction finding technique based on irregular non-rectilinear arrays, which operates without priori knowledge of source radiation frequencies.
