Real time wideband direction finding

open access: yes2015 23nd Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2015
In this paper, the developed FFT based interferometric direction finding of wideband radar threats for electronic support (ES) and electronic intelligence (ELINT) is presented. Using this method, target radar signal is separated from other radar signals using FFT. Phases of extracted radar signals for two or more channels are calculated.

Compact Amplitude-Only Direction Finding Based on a Deep Neural Network with a Single-Patch Multi-Beam Antenna

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
In this paper, a compact direction-finding system based on a deep neural network (DNN) with a single-patch multi-beam antenna is proposed. To achieve multiple beams, the patch is divided into four sectors by metal vias, and the pattern is tilted in the ...

Finding Sparser Directed Spanners.

open access: yes, 2010
A spanner of a graph is a sparse subgraph that approximately preserves distances in the original graph. More precisely, a subgraph $H = (V,E_H)$ is a $k$-spanner of a graph $G=(V,E)$ if for every pair of vertices $u,v \in V$, the shortest path distance $dist_H(u,v)$ from $u$ to $v$ in $H$ is at most $k.dist_G(u,v)$.

Direction Finding Using GHA Neural Networks

open access: yesAl-Khawarizmi Engineering Journal, 2017
This paper adapted the neural network for the estimating of the direction of arrival (DOA). It uses an unsupervised adaptive neural network with GHA algorithm to extract the principal components that in turn, are used by Capon method to estimate the DOA,
