Paving the Way to Elucidate Hg's Role in Tumorigenesis

Tumorigenesis can result from diverse environmental carcinogens. Among them, mercury—a lifelong bioaccumulative Group 2B carcinogen—has tumorigenic potential that remains poorly understood due to confounding co‐exposures and limited organ‐specific data.

UBE2T‐Driven p53 Degradation Rewires Glycolysis to Orchestrate Lactylation‐Mediated CAFs Activation and ECM Deposition in Pancreatic Cancer

This study integrates multi‐omics to reveal the critical role of UBE2T in driving malignancy and stromal co‐evolution in PDAC. UBE2T potentiates glycolysis by regulating p53 degradation via a positive feedback loop, thereby promoting histone H3 lysine 18 lactylation in CAFs and stromal deposition. A Deep Representation Learning Method for Quantitative Immune Defense Function Evaluation and Its Clinical Applications

ImmuDef, a novel algorithm to quantitatively evaluate the anti‐infection immune defense function of an individual based on RNA‐seq data via a variational autoencoder (VAE) model. It is validated on 3200+ samples across four immune states with high accuracy. It can serve as a metric for disease severity and prognosis across pathogenic cohorts.
