Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Rebound-associated vertebral fractures after discontinuation of denosumab-from clinic and biomechanics. [PDF]
Rebound-associated vertebral fractures may follow treatment discontinuation of highly potent reversible bone antiresorptives, resulting from the synergy of rapid bone resorption and accelerated microdamage accumulation in trabecular bone ...

Generalized Discontinuity [PDF]
We define and study a calculus of discontinuity, a version of displacement calculus, which is a logic of segmented strings in exactly the same sense that the Lambek calculus is a logic of strings. Like the Lambek calculus, the displacement calculus is a sequence logic free of structural rules, and enjoys Cut-elimination and its corollaries: the ...

Representation of Older Adult Patients in Clinical Trials
Older adults remain significantly underrepresented in clinical trials. This is concerning because age‐associated physiological changes can alter drug pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.
