Ceramic Particle‐Reinforced Medium‐Entropy Alloys With Outstanding Mechanical Properties Prepared by Novel Micro‐LPBF

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative medium entropy alloy (MEA) composite material was fabricated via micro laser powder bed fusion (μ‐LPBF) with appropriate nano‐ceramic particles doping and exhibited markedly improved overall performance, including synergistically enhanced strength and ductility, increased hardness and compressive strength, improved wear resistance and ...

DEVELOPMENT OF MOMENT-SEMIINVARIANT SOFTWARE FOR STOCHASTIC ANALYSIS

open access: yesСовременные информационные технологии и IT-образование, 2019
The article describes the methodological foundations and the results of comparative testing of scientific software for stochastic analysis of multidimensional nonlinear stochastic systems (StS) described by stochastic differential equations, developed on

Numerical solution of ordinary and retarded differntial equations with discontinuou derivatives

open access: yesNumerische Mathematik, 1973
This paper studies the propagation of discretization error for discontinuou ordinary and retarded differential equations. Various applications are given including one which extends a fundamental theorem of Henrici concerning round-off error.

Theory of differential inclusions and its application in mechanics

open access: yes, 2018
The following chapter deals with systems of differential equations with discontinuous right-hand sides. The key question is how to define the solutions of such systems.

Control of Polarization and Polar Helicity in BiFeO3 by Epitaxial Strain and Interfacial Chemistry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In BiFeO3 thin films, the interplay of interfacial chemistry, electrostatics, and epitaxial strain is engineered to stabilize homohelicity in polarization textures at the domain scale. The synergistic use of a Bi2O2‐terminated Aurivillius buffer layer and a highly anisotropic compressive epitaxial strain offers new routes to control the polar‐texture ...

Equilibrium internal fractures in elastic bodies supported by thin flexible coatings

open access: yesВестник Дагестанского государственного технического университета: Технические науки, 2020
Objective. In this paper, the authors study problems of a plane strain of elastic bodies containing internal rectilinear fractures. In each case, the margins of the considered areas are supported by thin flexible coatings.

Magnetic Force Microscopy Signatures of Higher‐Order Skyrmions and Antiskyrmions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic force microscopy operated under vacuum conditions enables the qualitative identification of higher‐order skyrmions and antiskyrmions in Co/Ni multilayers at room temperature. Distinct stray‐field contrast signatures arise from vertical Bloch lines and complex domain‐wall configurations.

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

Linearized Stability Analysis of Nonlinear Delay Differential Equations with Impulses

open access: yesAxioms
This paper explores the linearized stability of nonlinear delay differential equations (DDEs) with impulses. The classical results on the existence of periodic solutions are extended from ordinary differential equations (ODEs) to DDEs with impulses ...

Upper and Lower Solutions for First-Order Discontinuous Ordinary Differential Equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2000
The paper contains a significant contribution to the classical method of upper and lower solutions for a nonlinear first-order differential equation \(x'(t)=f(t,x(t)), t\in I=[0,1]\), with \(f:I\times \mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}\). The author generalizes the previous results in several directions: 1.
