Modelling non‐linear psychological processes: Reviewing and evaluating non‐parametric approaches and their applicability to intensive longitudinal data

open access: yesBritish Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology, Volume 79, Issue 2, Page 263-293, May 2026.
Abstract Psychological concepts are increasingly understood as complex dynamic systems that change over time. To study these complex systems, researchers are increasingly gathering intensive longitudinal data (ILD), revealing non‐linear phenomena such as asymptotic growth, mean‐level switching, and regulatory oscillations.

Efficient Energy‐Stable Discontinuous Galerkin Scheme for the Non‐Isothermal Cahn–Hilliard–Navier–Stokes Two‐Phase Fluid Flow System

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 127, Issue 7, 15 April 2026.
ABSTRACT In this article, we propose a novel numerical framework for the non‐isothermal Cahn–Hilliard–Navier–Stokes two‐phase flow system, which couples the incompressible Navier–Stokes equations, the Cahn–Hilliard phase‐field equation, and the heat transport equation to capture temperature‐dependent two‐phase flow dynamics.

Limit Cycles for a Class of Continuous-Discontinuous Piecewise Differential Systems

open access: yes
During this century, an increasing interest appeared in studying the planar piecewise differential systems. This is due to their numerous applications for modelling many natural phenomena. For understanding the dynamics of the planar differential systems we must control the existence or non-existence of periodic orbits and limit cycles.
