AbstractTree‐based methods are frequently used in studies with censored survival time. Their structure and ease of interpretability make them useful to identify prognostic factors and to predict conditional survival probabilities given an individual's covariates.

Discrete-time Promela and Spin
1998Spin is a software package for the verification of concurrent systems. A system to be verified is modeled in Promela — Spin’s input language. We present an extension of Promela and Spin with discrete time that provides an opportunity to model systems whose correct functioning crucially depends on timing parameters.

A discrete-time queueing network
Journal of Applied Probability, 1983A discrete-time network with multiple transitions is defined. It is characterized by the independence of the service processes at different nodes. That network is shown to have the familiar quasi-reversibility properties.

Discrete-Time Signals and Systems
2014Abstract In this chapter we will investigate the fundamental topic of discrete-time signals and systems. We first introduce some basic and useful discrete-time signals, like the unit impulse, the sinusoidal and white Gaussian random sequences. Then we define and represent discrete-time systems.

Nonlinear Systems in Discrete Time
1986The paper deals with a survey presentation of recent results obtained in the area of nonlinear discrete time systems following an approach based on the functional expansions of the state and output behaviours.
