On Discrete Time Wilson Systems [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2020
In this paper, we define the discrete time Wilson frame (DTW frame) forl2ℤand discuss some properties of discrete time Wilson frames. Also, we give an interplay between DTW frames and discrete time Gabor frames. Furthermore, a necessary and a sufficient condition for the DTW frame in terms of Zak transform are given.

Discrete-time resilient-distributed secondary control strategy against unbounded attacks in polymorphic microgrid

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2022
This study proposes a polymorphic cooperative control system for microgrid consisting of a service layer, a control layer, a data layer, and a power layer to apply a resilient-distributed secondary control strategy to distributed generators (DGs) from ...

Design of a Discrete-time Sliding Mode Controller for Nonlinear Affine Systems based on Disturbance Estimation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering Innovations, 2017
Background and Objectives: Nowadays, because of accuracy, speed, cost, and flexibility of digital control laws, control systems are implemented by computers, microprocessors or DSP chips.

Discrete-time randomized sampling [PDF]

open access: yesICECS 2001. 8th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.01EX483), 2002
This paper explores the use of randomized sampling in implementing convolution in discrete-time with application to the areas of approximate filtering, low-power filter design, and hardware failure modeling. Three distinct randomized sampling methods are presented and additive error models as well as second-order error statistics are derived for these ...

Bubbles in discrete-time models

open access: yesFinance and Stochastics, 2022
AbstractWe introduce a new definition of bubbles in discrete-time models based on the discounted stock price losing mass under an equivalent martingale measure at some finite drawdown. We provide equivalent probabilistic characterisations of this definition and give examples of discrete-time martingales that are bubbles and others that are not.

Characterizing sustainability in discrete time [PDF]

open access: yesEconomic Theory, 2018
AbstractWe examine the investment rule that must be satisfied by an efficient and egalitarian path in a discrete-time version of the Dasgupta–Heal–Solow model of capital accumulation and resource depletion. In the discrete-time model, competitive valuation of net investments in terms of early and late pricing differs.

Weighted Group Consensus for Discrete-Time Heterogeneous Multi-Agent Systems in the Cooperative-Competitive Network With Time Delays

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Group consensus is investigated for a class of discrete-time heterogeneous multi-agent systems which are composed of first-order and second-order agents with communication and input time delays in this paper.

Synchronization of Discrete-Time Fractional-Order Complex-Valued Neural Networks with Distributed Delays

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
This research investigates the synchronization of distributed delayed discrete-time fractional-order complex-valued neural networks. The necessary conditions have been established for the stability of the proposed networks using the theory of discrete ...

Nonlinear Decoupling in Discrete Time

open access: yesIFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1989
Abstract In this paper we study static and dynamic single-input-single-output decoupling for the class of discrete-time nonlinear systems. We give necessary and sufficient conditions which ensure the static decoupling and the "state free "left invertibility of each input-output channel.
